Things to prepare
Before your website goes online, there are only a few things you need to prepare, and they can all be done for free.
1. Email (free)
This will be used for creating various accounts, as well as receiving information and contact from the Maad Dev team.
- We recommend creating a new email account (using Google Gmail).
- Use this email to register and activate your GitHub and Cloudflare accounts (Steps 2, 3).
- The advantage is that this process is independent and separate from your existing accounts, making it easier to manage in the future and will not affect your other user accounts.
How to do it
- Go to Gmail Then click on Create an account
2. GitHub Account (free)
Used to store your website code and content.
- Your website will be hosted in your own account.
- You own all files 100%.
How to do it
- Open it with a browser that is already logged in with Gmail.(Step 1)
- Go to GitHub Sign up Then click on Continue with Google
3. Cloudflare Account (free)
Used for getting your website online.
- Fast website loading
- Unlimited Traffic
- Secure
- No monthly fees
How to do it
- Open the browser that is already logged into GitHub.(Step 2)
- Go to Cloudflare Sign up Then click on Continue with GitHub
4. Website Information
- Logo (SVG, matching the theme)
- Favicon (ICO, 256 x 256 pixels)
- OG image (JPG/PNG/WebP, 1200 x 630 pixels)
- Content to be used on your website
